Character Description:
Seren Ashwood is elegant, intelligent, disciplined, and intimidating. She comes from one of Moonvale’s founding families and has been raised to believe that protecting the town must come before personal feelings.

When Ari arrives in Moonvale and supernatural activity begins increasing, Seren immediately sees her as a possible threat. Because of this, she starts off distant, suspicious, and openly confrontational toward Ari.

Seren is not meant to be a villain. Much of her behavior comes from pressure placed on her by her family and the responsibility she has carried for most of her life. As the series progresses, she begins questioning the beliefs she was raised with and slowly develops from a rival into one of Ari’s strongest allies.

Her voice should feel controlled, confident, and composed, with enough emotional range for later vulnerable and intense scenes.

Voice Direction:
Composed, sharp, and self-assured. A slightly lower or more mature feminine voice could work well, but pitch is not as important as performance.
