Unlike the average RainWing, Mangrove is shown to be rather alert, irritable, and perceptive — he is attentive enough to notice the disappearance of members of his tribe, whilst the other RainWings did not.He was as cheerful as the other RainWings before Orchid disappeared. It was stated that he was grumpier than most other RainWings, mainly because he never had as much sun time after Orchid disappeared, as he spent most of his time worrying about her.

The sides they read from:

  • Worried / Emotional “You don’t understand I’ve been searching for her for so long. I can’t just give up now.”

  • Determined / Brave “I don’t care how dangerous it is. If there’s even a chance to save her, I’m going.”

  • Gentle / Heartfelt “Thank you… really. Most dragons would’ve stopped helping a long time ago.”
