Ashfall (Working Title)
Ezekiel Maslow for Wisp — Nadia Farrow (Vantage Combine, Recon)
Wisp — Nadia Farrow (Vantage Combine, Recon)
FACTION: The Vantage Combine | ROLE: Recon | GENDER: Female | AGE: Late 20s | ACCENT TARGET: Mixed / Eastern European undertone, actor's discretion
WHO SHE IS: Wisp is quiet in a way that unsettles people — not shy, just patient, and a little amused by how predictable most people are once you've watched them long enough. She sets traps and waits, and she's very good at waiting.
HER ROLE IN ASHFALL: Recon operator in an original, realistic tactical multiplayer FPS (Unreal Engine 5, Steam release planned), running an SMG. Her Tripwire Alarm is a silent trap that pings her whole team when an enemy crosses it.
VOICE & PERFORMANCE: Soft-spoken, sly, almost playful about danger. Should sound genuinely pleased when a trap works — not sadistic, just satisfied. Needs a believable shift into sharp urgency when a plan goes wrong.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: An actor who can make quiet feel dangerous rather than passive — Wisp is never not in control of a scene.
AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS: Record all lines below in one clearly labeled file. Dry/clean recording, no processing. Give us your own interpretation, not a flat read. See the main project description for full context on Ashfall, compensation terms, and credit terms.
AUDITION LINES:
1. "Wisp's got a line set. Let's see who trips it."
2. "Dispatch, contact — somebody just walked right into my wire."
3. "Wire's set. Somebody's about to have a very bad day."
4. "They're onto me — moving, cover the exit!"
5. (hurt) "...That'll leave a mark. Not today, though."
6. "People always underestimate the quiet ones. I like it that way."
