AMY ROSE

Amy Rose should sound youthful, warm, expressive, and emotionally sincere. She has a bright and caring personality, but she should never feel overly childish or one note. Amy is often the emotional heart of the group and is willing to reach people others have already given up on.

This version of Amy needs strong emotional range. The role includes optimism, frustration, compassion, fear, determination, grief, anger, and moments of complete emotional devastation, especially when the people she cares about are in danger or taken from her.

Tone: emotional action adventure with dramatic and character driven elements. Amy should feel sweet and energetic, but also mature enough to carry some of the story’s most painful scenes.
