Dane Koval is a veteran member of Sacramento Metro SWAT and the team's primary breacher.
Koval is 38, experienced, calm under pressure, extremely dependable, and known for his dry sense of humor. He's the guy who can make a joke five minutes before an operation and become completely focused the second things turn serious.
We're looking for a natural adult male voice with some weight and maturity, but not a stereotypical gravelly action-hero voice. Koval should sound like a real experienced officer talking to people he's worked beside for years.
His humor is understated. He doesn't perform the joke—he just says it. During tactical situations his delivery becomes concise, controlled and authoritative without unnecessary shouting.
Performance style: grounded, conversational, confident, dry, believable and cinematic.
This is a recurring character beginning with the FIRST LIGHT playable demo.

Hey. Look at me. You did your job. Everybody's going home. That's what matters.
Stack up. Ray, you're with me. Tennant, hold rear. On my count—three, two, one. Breach.
