Ashfall (Working Title)
Andrzej Lesiński for Anchor — Dmitri Kovalenko (Kestrel Group, Breacher)
Anchor — Dmitri Kovalenko (Kestrel Group, Breacher)
FACTION: Kestrel Group | ROLE: Breacher | GENDER: Male | AGE: Early-mid 30s | ACCENT TARGET: Eastern European / Slavic
WHO HE IS: Anchor is the first one through every door, every time, without exception. Blunt, forceful, and not big on speeches — he'd rather solve a problem with a well-placed charge than a long conversation about it.
HIS ROLE IN ASHFALL: Breacher operator in an original, realistic tactical multiplayer FPS (Unreal Engine 5, Steam release planned), running a shotgun. His Frame Charge blows a man-sized hole through a designated weak wall segment.
VOICE & PERFORMANCE: Gravelly, forceful, economical — Anchor doesn't waste words. His intense lines should feel like barely-contained aggression, not screaming. A Slavic/Eastern European accent should be clearly present but not exaggerated into caricature.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: An actor who can sound genuinely dangerous at a conversational volume — Anchor doesn't need to yell to be intimidating.
AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS: Record all lines below in one clearly labeled file. Dry/clean recording, no processing. Give us your own interpretation, not a flat read. See the main project description for full context on Ashfall, compensation terms, and credit terms.
AUDITION LINES:
1. "Anchor, stacking on the door. Say when."
2. "Command, breach point set, awaiting the green light."
3. "Charge is set. Clear the frame!"
4. "Breaching! Get ready!"
5. (hurt) "It's nothing. Keep pushing."
6. "Doors are just walls that haven't given up yet."
