savillevoices for Emily Grace
Emily is an object of obsession for Charles. They grew up together before Father's Exodus, living a meager life underground with the last survivors of humanity. They were very close, even in a romantic relationship. But Emily was kidnapped, missing for years and assumed dead. Her disappearance consumed Charles, the goal of finding her becoming his primary driver.
After years, Charles found her on the surface, barely alive. After her recovery, she wouldn't speak to Charles, terrified by simply being in his presence. The heartache from losing Emily drove Charles to retire as an Executor and begin a life of debauchery and self-destruction. Now, Charles has been called back to service to serve under Emily.
Charles has no idea why Emily hates and fears him. There will be two versions of Emily: one as a middle-aged woman, and another as a young adult/teenager. I included lines from both so I can use the actor for future episodes, however, only younger version will be used in Episode 2 in one scene with a few lines.
YOUNG EMILY: (WHISPER) My mom knows about this? (PAUSE) If my mother knows about this then why are we sneaking? Mr. Cane has to approve things like this.

Mr. Cane said that when the Archangel came to The Networks, he told him that the only way for any of this to work is to believe, even if you don’t have a reason to. Leave everything up to faith, Charlie. I’m sure Wilson and your father would agree.
MIDDLE-AGED EMILY: (Crying) What friendship? Two children stuck in an underground box? That means nothing to me anymore. What I have up here means nothing. The little boy I once knew isn’t this creature in front of me, this man who’s nothing more than that shit he puts in his body.
