Lauren Reed (she/her) is in her mid-thirties. She's the mayor of Middleville, and a woman who's willing to be as manipulative as needed to get what she wants. She appears very sweet and charismatic, but there is so much more hiding underneath her facade. She's cruel, but convincing. She's exactly what a politician should be, in her eyes.
Lauren is a very important character, and will become a recurring villain during and after the second season.

(Slowly revealing her true intentions) "I really didn't want to do this. You two are good kids. I was hoping to knock some sense into you, but... I don't know if that's possible."
(Power-hungry) "Alright, then. If you really want me to let you go free... then beg. Get down on your knees and beg for my forgiveness."
