Dr. Elias Varren is the creator of the facility and the man responsible for the experiments that destroyed his own family. Once a brilliant scientist who wanted to understand human behavior, Elias became obsessed with proving his theories correct.

After his colleagues rejected his methods, he continued his research alone, eventually turning his own wife and daughters into subjects. He believes everything he did was necessary and refuses to see himself as the villain.

To Elias, the players are not victims — they are simply another part of his research.

Elias should have a sternn, detached, and manipulative voice that sounds like he is always in control. He rarely raises his voice because he believes he doesn't need to.
