Dryad Matron
in Dawnsbury Days: The Four-Leaf Clover
Leaves-of-Fall is a female dryad, a forest woman who bonds with a tree. She is the middle member of Arborea’s forest council and acts as its pragmatic center. Her politics are isolationist, reserved and distrustful of outsiders.
Ideally her voice evokes the sound of a forest, but in any case she speaks clearly, with derision and disdain towards the “outsiders” who seek an audience with her.
Size of role: 14 lines
(annoyed, disdainful) Let's start. The sooner we're done, the sooner these outsiders can leave.
(venomously) What do you want from us, outsiders?
(“We can help you with that!”, with finality and authority) You can't. You won't find the Tomb without our help, and we won't be telling you.
