The Assassin can be at times morose, but he is someone who uses his brutal upbringing in order to instill hope upon others as you'll see in his first line. Life is too short for one to be lost in despair. If any of you have played Assassin's Creed, he's basically a variation of the older Ezio more focused on being a mentor to those he protects and works with rather than an edgy man or smooth talker.
