Dark Souls: Soul Chronicles, Official Listing Part One
Lyrenaris for Knight Artorias the Abysswalker
Yes, the valiant Wolf Knight and Abyss Walker himself. Extending the Soul Chronicles to a world of "what if?" I have had an idea of the player being able to save Artorias from the Abyss by purging him of it. I envision him as being a young, heroic, possibly handsome character with a true knightly heart. For the Soul Chronicles he will give some information about Oolacile, Anor Londo culture and speak briefly on the disappearance/ departure of Lord Gwyn. I am trying to get him to sound like he has a smooth voice rather than a gruff one, to emphasize his youth.
"Bloody Hell! My arm!! (Flustered, changing to the official-sounding speech of Anor Londo) I mean... hail, goodly warrior, thou has my gratitude, for assistance in making... (back to normal) Oh sod I can't do it. Flames this hurts!"
"Sif sent you?? From... the future? Sounds strange, but you did just save me sooo, I'll buy it."
"I chose to come here because Princess Yorshka, Lady of Dusk claimed there was great peril. And now, it appears, her story is true..."
even if you are not interested in me as an actor, I would appreciate some feedback
I would recommend creating context for yourself, as though you are in the situation of Artorias (who had his arm crushed by the Abyss and was corrupted by it before being freed) showing the emotion(s) one might express in those situations. It helps to express confidence in the role as well, as though playing it comes naturally, which isn't always easy in fantasy/sci-fi stories I know.
