Asgore is the king of all monsters, the final boss of the game, he forces Frisk to a fight to stop them from leaving the underground.

From what we can tell about how he sounds ingame, Asgore has a very deep voice, he should sound manly and a little old, but at the same time should denote a certain kindness and sadness in his overall tone.

I'm leaving this here in case anyone can do a better job portraying those same feelings of sadness than what's already in the animatic.

  • Howdy! How can
I-... *GASP*  (PAUSE) I so badly want to say,  would you like a cup of tea?...  But... you know how it is (PAUSE) Nice

a game of catch! (PAUSE) ...You know what we must do, when you
are ready, come into the next room.

  • This is the barrier this is
what keeps us all trapped underground (PAUSE) If... If by chance you have any unfinished business... Please do what you must

  • Human... it was a nice to meet you... goodbye.

Hello! You have a very good voice! and the pitch of it certainly fits Asgore pretty well. However one of the things I'm gonna be focusing on in this animation is showing the two faces of asgore (when he's fighting and when he's not fighting) In this animation Asgore gives an impression of being a softy with a deep voice, with mannerisms and a way of speaking that makes you think he wouldn't hurt a fly. I think the overall tone you chose for the lines applies more to a more agressive attitude, which is not bad but it's not something I'm looking for except for the part where the fight actually happens (all the other dialogue is calm or melancholical). Again, the voice is good but the way the lines were delivered differ from what I'm looking for. You're free to do a reaudition if you like, no pressure. Thank you for your interest too!
