THE HOLLOW - Character Voice Exploration
Andrew Hagen for Noah Mercer
Noah Mercer
Male | Late 30s | Supporting Character
Noah Mercer grew up in Hollow alongside Elias and Sarah. Kind, patient, and quietly confident, he has a calming presence that naturally puts others at ease. He isn't loud or dramatic, he's the kind of person who listens before he speaks and always seems to know the right thing to say.
As the story unfolds, Noah becomes one of the emotional pillars of THE HOLLOW. His relationship with Elias is a central part of the game's narrative and explores themes of love, memory, identity, grief, and what it truly means to know someone. Their relationship develops naturally throughout the story and is an important part of Elias' journey.
Noah carries years of pain with quiet acceptance rather than anger. Even after everything that has happened, he still hopes Elias will remember who they were to each other.
