Daniels is the Medium’s hander (see Iraklis_2 for more info). You can be like Roya and think he is exploiting a very damaged young man, or more pragmatic like Henry, who reasons that without Daniels, the Medium would be dead in an alleyway long ago. Play him soft, polite, to maintain that ambiguity. Daniels puts on a professional front anyway, the crew after all are his clients.
