Mandy Gill (Harold's Grandmother)

Character Profile: Harold Scott’s grandmother. A woman with an endless passion for classical music and baroque aesthetics, she has modelled herself and her family on classical aesthetics and traditions, raising Harold into the gentleman he is now, and she couldn’t be prouder.

While she previously stood as the matriarch of the Gill/Scott family, her age has begun to catch up with her, leading to some confusion. Despite this, she remains a sweet and spirited woman, especially in her love of all things classical music.

Voice: Performed in a British (I.E. English) accent. For this character we are interested in hearing regional English accents as well as the typical RP (Reserved Pronunciation). The main thing we're looking for with this character is a sense of her age, with a pitch on the medium-high end and a croakiness to indicate her age. Mandy should speak slowly at times when recalling information, giving a sense of her mind working as she talks.
