Character Designer / Concept Artist

Looking for a Character Designer / Concept Artist to help create the visual style and characters for an original musical.

Responsibilities may include:

• Designing main and supporting characters

• Creating full-body character concepts and expressions

• Exploring costumes, hairstyles, accessories, and color palettes

• Producing reference sheets for use in the production

• Collaborating with the director/writer to match the tone and story of the musical

Software: Any digital art software is welcome (Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, Krita, Illustrator, etc.). Traditional artists are also welcome if they can provide clear scans/photos of their work.

This project is currently unpaid/volunteer-based, but compensation may become available later if the production receives funding or generates income.
