​🚨 TEAM RULES & REQUIREMENTS (READ BEFORE AUDITIONING)

​Joining this project means becoming part of an official, professional, and dedicated team. I am very picky about who I work with, and we maintain strict standards to keep the environment safe, smooth, and fun for everyone.

​Acting > Voice Impression: Your ability to play the character, capture his booming theatrical charisma, massive ego, and chilling transformation into a genuine threat matters infinitely more than doing a 1:1 impression.

​Age Limit (17+ Only / 18+ Preferred): You must be at least 17 years old to apply. 18+ is heavily preferred to ensure minor safety and a mature team dynamic across the studio.

​Microphone Quality (Decent & Clear): You don't need a high-end studio setup, but your mic must be clear with no background noise, room echo, or peaking so your voice comes through properly.

​VRChat Setup (Soft Requirement / Strongly Preferred): Owning a VR headset with working VRChat is strongly preferred. It won't instantly disqualify you, but VR players will have a heavy advantage due to our body-acting and cinematic filming needs.

​No Drama: Keep it completely drama-free. Unnecessary drama results in immediate removal.

​Family-Friendly Tone & Community Integrity:

​Character Tone: This is a Sonic project. Characters are lighthearted, adventurous, and kind above all else.

​Content & Language: We maintain clean entertainment. Cursing is heavily restricted—mild words like hell, damn, or bastard are fine in moderation, but heavy profanity (f-bombs, etc.) is strictly prohibited.

​Inclusive Environment: Zero tolerance for slurs, hate speech, or discrimination. We accept and welcome all races, genders, and sexualities.

​Scripted & Body-Acting Teamwork: Our long-form non-gaming content is heavily scripted. Voice actors and VRChat body actors work directly in tandem, so high coordination and script discipline are required.

​No Preachiness & Open to Loose Ships: Leave personal agendas at the door, and keep an open mind regarding character dynamics.

​🥚 Character Breakdown: Dr. Eggman

​Personality: The Grandiose Genius & Unforgiving Tyrant. Eggman is loud, boastful, dramatic, and possesses a god-sized ego matched only by his incredible mechanical intellect. He loves making grand announcements, treating his schemes like massive theatrical productions, and bickering over trivial nonsense. HOWEVER, under all the theatrical antics lies a ruthless, calculating warlord with an IQ of 300. When pushed past his breaking point, the theatricality vanishes, revealing a cold, menacing genius who will stop at nothing to conquer and crush his enemies.

​Vocal Direction: Deep, theatrical, boisterous, and commandingly raspy. Must have exceptional dynamic range—able to seamlessly swing from loud, booming operatic laughter and high-energy comedic outbursts to a quiet, low-pitched, spine-chilling threat.

​Note from the Director: Eggman is the iconic centerpiece of Team Empire. Range is everything for this role. We need an actor who can be hilarious and theatrical one moment, and then make the audience genuinely afraid the next when he drops the comedy and gets deadly serious. Also, keep in mind—our cast will have moments where we sing or do musical tracks, so being able to belt out a fun, villainous musical line is a massive bonus!
