Hey Scottish_Bob, thanks so much for auditioning for Bruce!

I really enjoyed your performance, you captured quiet a lot of the character’s personality and the natural Scottish delivery works really well. I also appreciate that you can adjust the strength of the accent.

One thing I was wondering: would you be able to try a slightly deeper, warmer, and more grounded take on the voice? I’ve been imagining Bruce with a bit more weight and presence behind his voice, while still keeping his humour and personality.

No worries if that’s not your natural range, I just wanted to see how it would fit the direction I have in mind for the character. Thanks again for taking the time to audition!

Bruce is a loyal and dependable member of Rivermoor, known for his big personality, dry humour, and strong sense of community.

On the surface, Bruce is energetic, playful, and always ready with a joke. Whether he's defending his questionable ideas or turning an ordinary moment into a story, he brings warmth and humour to those around him.

Voice Direction

Bruce has a naturally deep, warm, and grounded voice with a subtle Scottish influence, reflecting his background and heritage within Rivermoor. Not looking for an exaggerated or stereotypical Scottish accent.

A natural performance with slight Scottish characteristics is preferred. The most important aspects are the character's personality, emotional delivery, and ability to make Bruce feel like a real person.

Accent accuracy is less important than creating a memorable and authentic character.
