Role assigned to: Poppletron

Asgore is the king of all monsters, the final boss of the game, he forces Frisk to a fight to stop them from leaving the underground.

From what we can tell about how he sounds ingame, Asgore has a very deep voice, he should sound manly and a little old, but at the same time should denote a certain kindness and sadness in his overall tone.

I'm leaving this here in case anyone can do a better job portraying those same feelings of sadness than what's already in the animatic.

  • Howdy! How can
I-... *GASP*  (PAUSE) I so badly want to say,  would you like a cup of tea?...  But... you know how it is (PAUSE) Nice
day today, huh? Birds are singing, flowers are blooming... Perfect weather for
a game of catch! (PAUSE) ...You know what we must do, when you
are ready, come into the next room.

  • This is the barrier this is
what keeps us all trapped underground (PAUSE) If... If by chance you have any unfinished business... Please do what you must

  • Human... it was a nice to meet you... goodbye.

What a beautiful voice! It is loud and crystal clear! I can tell you won't have much trouble attaining higher tones during the project! However it kinda sounds too young for asgore, It sounds a lot more to Asgore but in his younger days (a lot more before the war and stuff). This could be tweaked through sound editing, but just in case I'd like to ask you if you could try making your voice deeper (and a little more raspy if possible) like in the animatic. Thank you in advance and I'll wait for your response :)

Why thank you very much! ^^ Glad you enjoyed the voice. For making it more deep and a bit raspy, I can definately try that for you. It would be no problem at all.
