The neighbours are minor supporting roles in Jubaku. They are ordinary residents of the neighbourhood surrounding the Tanaka Residence, but their interactions with the protagonist should feel subtly unnatural and uncomfortable.

The performances should be grounded and realistic rather than overtly theatrical. The neighbours should initially sound like normal people having ordinary conversations, but something about their delivery, pauses, word choices, or reactions should leave the player feeling that something is not quite right.
