Oshiro is the youngest staff member at only 19, and is (by technicality) the person who accidentally created the killing game via mentioning a death game manga. He previously worked directly under the headmaster as a chauffeur, but was transferred to the Research Department after accidentally hitting a high schooler who was riding his bike. He is considerably more normal and moral than a majority of the staff, and progressively becomes more and more stressed about all the circumstances.

He is young, nervous, and stressed by all sorts of factors, and his voice should reflect this. At times, it should make the audience realize that he is barely older than the students in the killing game itself. He experiences a wide range of emotions, and voice actors who want to play him should be able to play both his straight-man comedy and his more serious moments. Likely a higher voice, but anything can work given the right tone.

The sides they read from:
  • (Explaining, drinking water at a bar) “No… the headmaster never drives his own car. Plus he’s a raging alcoholic, so it’s probably for the best. I don’t really drink, anyhow. I just came to stop you guys from ending up wrapped around a lightpost or something…”

  • (Terrified, talking to a cop) “O-Oh, nothing…! Just dropping these guys off home…” (Officer: “You realize you didn’t fully stop at that stop sign, right?”) “I- uhm- s-sorry, sir, I’m just… it’s late and I-”

  • (Questioning, slightly naive) “What’s stopping the academy from just calling the cops and… arresting us?” (Kamiya: “The fact that we know what they don’t want anyone to know.”) “Hey, so I’m still really new. I have no clue what you’re referring to.” (Kamiya: "All you need to know is that wanting to play god has its toll.”) “What’s really… the point, though? I know I agreed to everything, but… what did these kids do to end up here?”
