A current leader of the Kamunabi and close friends with Shiba and Kunishige back during the war. He helped Kunishige find refuge and go into hiding following the war and he aids Chihiro on his current quest by giving him inside information on the Kamunabi and their intelligence.


Azami holds loyalty both to his closest friends and to the security of the nation through the Kamunabi. He is a well-mannered, confident, and mature individual who carries himself with composure in nearly all situations. On the battlefield, however, Azami is a cold and merciless combatant that dispatches his enemies without hesitation or displaying emotion, known by the title of Executioner.
