Yukio Nakahara - The Experiment

One of the most important staff members, and also one of the most mysterious. In any public records, Yukio Nakahara is a convenience store cashier. However, the real person by that name has been dead for nearly forty years. It is simply a name placed upon this character in order to give him an alibi for existing. He does not have memories of life more than a few years prior to the game, and has levels of strength and ability that are nearly inhuman. He was, at one point, a normal person, but has been formed by experiments and illegal technology into a living weapon. That is, mostly living.

Throughout his story, Nakahara has two major conflicts: discovering who he was, and his body literally crumbling and rotting as he lives in it. As such, he emits almost an uncanny valley feeling in the way he moves and exists. The part he plays in the killing game is similar to Iwai, removing any threats to the sanctity of the game and the staff. The two frequently work together, and both take part in certain other important aspects of the game.

Nakahara's voice needs to make the viewer uncomfortable. Not in any concrete way that a normal person might, but in a way where he sounds almost inhuman. Again, for a significant portion of his story he is essentially a walking corpse, and his voice should have a similarly eerie sense to it. A voice actor attempting to play Nakahara should be able to convincingly show a great deal of existentialism through his uncertainty with his own person, and should be able to express a very wide range of emotion. He can sound like anything, but perhaps a slightly deeper voice could work.
