First Mate and Blackchops’ unwilling sister, at first glance, Wendy is only onboard so she may eventually elope with Tim. But there's something else to it as well - a feeling of responsibility for Julius' wellbeing. She’s a bit of a fawner and incredibly lazy. Also the only one (apart from Penny) that can read, so she has her uses.
Wendy's from the same ilk as Blackchops. Whilst she's not as into the pirate-y tones, years of sea-faring have left their mark on her. She's not full-on, over-the-top, swashbuckling 'Me laddies!' but her voice would be quick to give a convincing 'Arrr!' if need be.
Keep your eyes open when you go round corners and you'll be fine.
Julius. We've been at sea for fifteen years. In all that time, the only ships we've robbed are so we can steal bottlecaps for your madcap pension scheme and the odd barrel of nuts. And yet somehow we manage to sink every vessel we board. How is that being a good pirate, brother?
Tell you what, though. It's nice to not be pirating for a bit. Makes you think about what's really important in life.
