Benny is portrayed as a gruff, sarcastic, outspoken, sassy, and witty middle-aged Toon taxi cab, who doesn't take kindly to slow drivers. While Benny may have a short-temper and a bad attitude at times, he's still a loyal and good friend to Roger and Eddie (the protagonists of the story).

Benny is a supporting role in the film. This role requires a bit of yelling in pain, when Benny gets hurt driving through "dip" (which is like acid to Toons).
