Dyl in the Dark for Andre of Astora
The Old Smith of Astora who has been in the series from beginning to end. For him, every day is Talk Like a Pirate day (which is officially September 19th for those who don't know). Is this seemingly humble craftsman more than he says? Hard to tell, since no one knows him. Originally Andre was purported to have a much larger role in the Game but was cut back, due to unfortunate stuff, which we see a lot of in games. His dialogue will discuss Astora, Anor Londo, and the nature of smithing with souls. Deep gravelly voice that sounds very piratey. Arrr, Smithy!
"My home? 'Tis strange you ask, lad (lass). Astora be a land of craftsmen, smiths and masons, jewellers and carpenters. 'Tis no land of heroes, but then what land is? *laughter*"
"My my, but that is a beautiful Ember... I don't suppose you'd part with it for the sake of this Old Smith, would ye?"
"Smith God?! Ha! Yer head be filled with stories, lad (lass). Or ye have taken a few too many knocks. Nay. I be but a simple smith from Astora. Most gods have forsaken this here land. Only the desperate or foolish remain.
