James is Poppy's twin brother. Unlike his sister, due to his striking resemblance to his traitor father - both in appearance and in his ability - he is often shunned. He also carries a secret which has alienated himself from his sister. Terribly soft-spoken, introverted and highly intelligent, he tends to keep to himself but strikes up a budding friendship with Dinah. He tends to refrain from using his ability and is quite self-conscious. Despite this, he has a wicked sense of humour.
Looking for a soft, slightly more feminine voice in the mid-to-high range. He speaks quite dully, though does not lack emotion in his lines at all.
"You’re Dinah, right? (He pauses) I didn’t read your mind if that’s what you’re thinking. I saw your name on the class rota."
"When I was a kid, I used to think my dad was the best person in the world. I used to follow him around and call him a superhero. It's ironic to think about how wrong I was."
(He is shakily using his ability to manipulate somebody) "Stop. Stand up. Walk over to that table, enter the passcode to the safe and give me the contents inside."
