Jake English is, well, English, and the actor MUST portray him with an English accent.


Jake is somewhat naiive and plucky, but he has a good heart and a good head on his shoulders. Though he's absent through the first half of the musical, he takes a lead status in the second half. Jake's voice should sound optimistic and a bit airy.  He sings in a Tenor range.

Due to the Tone of Jake's voice, I will be accepting females for this role provided they have a strong male range.

Some of Jake's big songs include "A Heart full of love" (Les Miserables) and "Good For You" (Dear Evan Hansen)
