The bestest bro, fakest friend and friendliest coward anyone can ask for. For the most part, Ernie’s a peppy guy. Cos no one likes a buzzkill and first impressions are real important, right? He’s trying to be a decent person for the most part but damn, sometimes it's just not worth all that effort. There’s that tragic backstory of his, and the fact that he’s been condemned to a lifetime of war and death around every corner. Neither of those excuse the last three times he ditched his teammates to save his own skin but hey, he gave it his best (he definitely didn't). There’s also that sadistic streak that keeps popping out. It’s problematic, not something he’s proud of but…well. Sometimes people are just really asking for it. And he’s happy to provide.

 

When not in situations of stress (which is super rare in this setting), Ernie is the kind of guy that wants to approach everyone and everything with a smile. Whether he’s hanging with friends or smashing someone’s face into a wall, he’s quick to laugh. There’s almost always some sense of joviality in his tone, eerie as it may be in the context of the latter situation. Then again, anger is a really difficult emotion to hold back. He's terrible at hiding his fury.
