Dr. Beckett is the lead scientist behind The Recall Program. He is intelligent, controlled, and deeply invested in the success of his work. He believes the program can change the world. He also believes he knows what is best for the participants, even when his choices become morally questionable.

Beckett is not a mustache-twirling villain. He’s calm, professional, and persuasive. He can be reassuring one moment and cold the next. He believes in the program so much that he can justify the damage it causes. But also has the protective professionalism to know when to back off.

  • It's okay. I can handle this. "How's this work?" Great question, actually. Let me ask you a question. Do you ever feel like you are losing touch with the past? Important moments that you can’t remember? It may be hard to come to terms with but, by the time you’re fifty, you’ve forgotten more of your life than you remember. entire days, months, conversations, people. The human brain is like an incredibly complex storage system. A bank of memories, experiences, and sensations, all stored away. Even ones you don't remember. Now imagine it as a computer, constantly recording and organizing everything we see, hear or feel. That's where our work comes in.. What if you could relive moments from your past life?

  • Basically, our system reads electrical patterns in your brain as coding. Then, neuro-connectix will take the codes and fill in the gaps and translate it into a simulation. (CONT'D) Think of the potential benefits for mankind. We can preserve the past in ways that were previously unimaginable. See history through the eyes of those who lived it. Heal people of past traumas, keep the memories of lost ones, a tool for law enforcement. We could do so many things.
