I may not have given Male actors a good understanding. This scene in particular was very heavy set towards Rei speaking and essentially pointing things out. With few dialogue moments with Kaito actually speaking as he is mostly listening here and reflecting. Kaito Nakamura – Character Overview

Kaito Nakamura is the main protagonist of the story. Once an optimistic and energetic young man, Kaito's life is shaped by the loss of his father, mother, and several close friends at the hands of the Kurohana crime syndicate. Those losses fuel his determination to bring those responsible to justice, but they also leave him carrying more emotional weight than anyone should.

Kaito is fiercely loyal and willing to risk everything for the people he cares about. He believes that if there is even the slightest chance to help someone, he has a responsibility to try. This mindset makes him courageous and inspiring, but it also leads him to take dangerous risks and shoulder burdens that were never his to carry.

Throughout the story, Kaito struggles with the belief that he can protect everyone around him. His greatest strength and greatest flaw are the same: he refuses to give up on people, even when the odds are impossible.
