Espahr (pronounced Ess-parr) is not like the other party members. He arrives on Earth through an ancient statue. He claims to be from an alternate world named Terra, a realm stuck in a fantasy era of swords and scorcery. He has come to Earth to warn the gang of an immense evil that looks to merge the worlds of Terra and Earth together and rule over it as an authoritarian empire. While initially distant, Espahr grows to accept his new life on Earth and eventually considers the other heroes close friends.

Have you lost any semblance of sanity you had left!? What an asinine thing to say... You really think lifting the seal will help the Terrarians!? The Dark Monarch only exists to cause pure devastation. That INCLUDES Terra and its people! Summoning that wicked beast won't unite the planets again! You already slaughtered thousands of innocent Earthlings. You've killed the families of these kids, too... How many more innocent lives must you destroy!?
