Jirou

Jirou serves as the main antagonist and former ex-partner from Fumiko's past. One whom she chooses to forget, until he returns back into her life, twisting the events of the story by attempting to sabotage the arranged marriage between Fumiko and Ryuji, wanting to regain Fumiko's trust so he can have power to himself and dominance over her to earn the respect of his underground clan that he joined shortly after his temporary departure from Fumiko's life. He is sly, connivingly arrogant, smug and holds grudges easily, thus when he catches onto Ryuji immediately, he is not very fond of him, let alone the marriage either, but masks it under his suave, secretive facade. Not much is really known about his younger years or his entire past other than that he had affiliation with the Hashimori that is revealed later on in the story and he had some involvement with the Clan family wars for some time but mainly just as Fumiko's ex-partner.
