Recently promoted to Commissioner after years as a detective and captain, Gordon has built a reputation for honesty, competence, and an unwillingness to compromise his principles. He works closely with Batman when necessary, though he remains committed to the belief that Gotham's future cannot rely solely on vigilantes. Intelligent, compassionate, and resilient, Gordon serves as one of the city's few dependable pillars of stability.

VOICE DIRECTION:

Gordon should sound authoritative without sounding old. This is not a weary retiree counting down the years. He is still actively leading Gotham through some of its most difficult periods. The voice should carry confidence, professionalism, and warmth, with occasional frustration when Gotham inevitably tests his patience.
