Baba is a mature, husky, maternal owl with a love for cooking, crafting and her darling Barnaby. She has a very warm presence, but can easily see through anyone’s bull. And despite her larger size, she’s a gentle soul with plenty of love to go around.

For Baba, we need someone with a particular age to her voice. Her voice is on the deeper mature register. She’s not an old lady, nor is she a younger woman. Her age falls in the older middle aged range. Think of a very loving aunt, or a bear-hugging hockey mom. She may have some grit, but overall she’s very motherly, especially towards Barnaby.

Like Barnaby, Baba is a lead role and we will be particular about deliveries.
