CHARACTER OVERVIEW:
Leonard Snart, better known as Captain Cold, is one of Central City's most infamous criminals and the longtime leader of the Rogues. Unlike many supervillains, Snart is not interested in world domination, mass murder, or chaotic destruction. He sees crime as a profession, one with rules, standards, and expectations. Intelligent, pragmatic, and highly disciplined, Cold runs his crew with the mindset of a career criminal who values loyalty and professionalism above all else. While he frequently clashes with the Flash, the two share a strange mutual respect forged through years of conflict.
VOICE DIRECTION:
Captain Cold should sound cool in every sense of the word. Calm, confident, and rarely emotional, he is the kind of man who lowers his voice when everyone else raises theirs. Avoid overly theatrical villain performances. Snart isn't trying to intimidate people. He simply knows he already does. Dry wit, subtle sarcasm, and effortless confidence are highly encouraged. Think of a seasoned career criminal who always seems to have a backup plan and never feels rushed, even when surrounded by chaos.
