CHARACTER OVERVIEW:
Guy Gardner is a Green Lantern of Sector 2814 and one of the most infamous members of the Green Lantern Corps. Loud, abrasive, stubborn, and frequently insufferable, Guy has a remarkable talent for annoying nearly everyone he meets. Beneath the attitude, however, is a fearless hero with a fiercely loyal streak and a refusal to back down from any fight. He may talk like a jerk and act like a jerk, but when things get serious, Guy is usually one of the first people through the door and one of the last people standing.
VOICE DIRECTION:
Guy should sound confident to the point of arrogance, with enough swagger to fill an entire room by himself. Most of his humor comes from insults, bravado, and saying exactly what pops into his head without filtering it first. Think of the guy at a party who's somehow both the most annoying and most entertaining person there. Guy is a skilled Lantern and a legitimate hero.
"Lookie here, hotshot! If I wanted a second opinion, I'd have asked somebody whose opinion I actually care about."
"Jordan, buddy, if you're trying to impress me, you're gonna have to do a lot better than saving the world."
