CHARACTER OVERVIEW:

Barbara Gordon is one of Gotham's brightest young minds and one of Batman's most promising allies. Around 15-17 years old, she's already established herself as a capable crimefighter whose intelligence often rivals the adults around her. Analytical, resourceful, and fiercely determined, Barbara approaches problems like puzzles waiting to be solved. Despite her tactical mindset and impressive competence, she's still a teenager at heart: confident, witty, energetic, and never afraid to poke fun at the people around her.

VOICE DIRECTION:

Barbara should sound young without sounding childish. She's sharp, quick-thinking, and naturally confident, often speaking with the certainty of someone who's already figured out the solution before everyone else catches up. Her humor comes easily and tends to be playful rather than sarcastic. In serious situations she's focused and composed, but she should never feel overly cold or robotic. Think of someone who can comfortably switch from cracking a joke to delivering an important tactical observation in the same conversation.
