Krizenia is a playable companion, and side character in Fugue's End. Krizenia forms part of the Cryptid race of Beastmen. They are giant moths who hunt mainly on instinct. They hold very rudimentary levels of cognition, with most cryptids being considered more akin to feral animals than people, but Krizenia is one of those few who not only can speak, but has a fascination with humanity itself because she's fallen in love with one.

Cryptids are known to maul each other to display dominance, and Krizenia was unfortunately a victim of the practice. She would have nearly died had it not been for the help of a man named Ludger. In return for the silk Cryptids can produce, he nursed her back to health. It was a purely transactional thing, but after losing her suspicion of him, she saw how he weaved her silk into beautiful clothing. Mesmerized, she joined him, grew a fondness and love for him, and humanity, and travels alongside him to this day.

As for her voice, she has a noticeable pause between most of the words leaving her voice fragmented. This happens because Cryptids do not have vocal chords that can easily emulate human speech. The ability to speak is something Krizenia has painstakingly tried mastering throughout the years in order to communicate with the human she cherishes. Their voices are much better suited for screeching as the supersonic sound ruptures ear canals, and disorients foes long enough for a cryptid to subdue them. If you're a good screecher this is the perfect character for you. As for her actual tone, you can go for a very demure or somewhat cutesy. She wants to present herself as a beautiful young adult so play into that.

Cryptids have one peculiar habit when they feel threatened or want to display intimidation. They either have a warbling or purring sound effect. In her first line I tried making my best onomatopeia. Focus on the r sound like if you were a cat slowly growling at something. I would also do a take without adding the sound. This is more an idea I want to explore, and to check how easily it can be implemented.
