Amjad is a former military officer who oversees the space port at Titan Harbor. He's concerned about what Kantor might be doing at Tethys and Enceladus, but he's a good soldier and follows orders. When Harper comes to him with a secret request, he chooses to do the right thing and help her, even if it means disobeying Kantor's directives.
