Frank lived in Macomb before the great war as an engineer who specialized in robotics. A month before the war he was sent a sentrybot by the local police force but before he could deliver it the great war started. He ended up working on it for the next 50 years as his body ghoulified preserving his body. By 2127 he finally finished Richter’s AI and booted up his new companion. Richter’s new AI helped him converse with Frank and over time Richter’s AI began to learn from him in a manner similar to the Calculator. Soon the Macomb Ghoul Haters formed and declared war against Frank so the two began to fight back. After a hundred years of fighting the two came across a savage sect of the Brotherhood of Steel which recruited normal wastelanders. The two joined up and over time the Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel became more civilized and came back into contact with the main Brotherhood of Steel. Frank eventually became friends with Paladin Thor and Paladin Vargas and after twenty years Star Paladin and Jamison Ruff and Scribe Cornelius.
