Tashigi is another member of the Navy and is a Rear Admiral just like Ryu. Tashigi is married to the man she used to be an assistant to. Vice-Admiral Smoker. She doesn't have any Devil Fruit power, but has a mastery in Swordsmanship and is able to use Haki against her opponents. Tashigi is a younger adult in her late 20's and has gone through the rankings of The Navy as the years went on. She is currently pregnant with Vice-Admiral Smoker's child and remains away from any combat while she is pregnant only appearing very rarely. While she did have feelings on the right hand of the king of the pirates Monkey D. Luffy's first mate Roronoa Zoro. She eventually ended up double-crossing him and hospitalizing him and making him handicapped as a way of proving her love to Smoker.
