The mysterious stuffed animal that claims to be the chaperone for this trip to Makai Mountain, Mononezu is a complete mystery. No one knows if he’s a robot, toy, or what, but it is known that he is incredibly dangerous. He may look cute and cuddly, but he can be a definite threat when he wants to. Don’t let your guard down.
Director’s notes
Considering Mononezu is the mascot of this game, he is one of the most important characters, appearing through the entire game. He’s much like Monokuma in personality, though there’s more of a subtle cunning to him than Monokuma.
Voice
Mononezu’s voice should sound cartoony, almost like a character from a children’s cartoon, but also be capable of sounding deathly serious and downright dangerous. His voice can be done by anyone, regardless of gender.
(cheerful) Good morning students! I am your chaperone, Mononezu!
(annoyed) Hey! Show your chaperone some respect! If you children are naughty, you’ll be punished severely!
(threatening) Of course… there is one way out. Do you want to know what it is?
