Who is he?
Joel is a local parkourist and casual gamer who likes to meet up with his friends to explore the abandoned parts of New Block City. He's outgoing, cocky, and keen to jump into problems before thinking. He's the protagonist of the series.

Honestly, he was cast so fast that I didn't have the time to figure out what he should sound like. Listen to the accepted audition and you'll get an idea.

(Joel almost falls off a ledge after being shoved by one of his friends) Aleisha, would you stop clowning around? You could have killed me!
(He witnesses a crime being committed) Guys, look! He's taking it all. I should go in and stop them! (Joel gets warned by another character) No, I won't get shot, I'm too careful for that!
(Joel is in an argument with someone else) Look, I know you care about me, but stop getting into my business! You only want me to be safe, but the best way to do that is to get out of my way!
