Female, late 20s to early 30s. Victoria, or Vickie, is a surgical resident specializing in veterinary procedures. Why veterinary medicine? Because she has some “trust issues” with humans, and naturally prefers to work with other animals instead. She will still work with some human doctors and patients, but it’s not often, and she does her best to remain professional with them. She has a determined but curt personality, and can often be seen working alone when not in the OR.

Hello!

Thank you for auditioning to be a part of the TOADL Character Shorts project!

You have been selected to move forward in the casting process, and will take part in a brief “callback” period. During this process, you will be asked to record a pre-written line of dialogue for this character, which will be compared to other actors, in order to determine which line delivery better matches the style we are looking for. Actors will then be notified of our decisions in a follow-up message once all callbacks have been submitted.

You have three options to submit your callback:

Submit your new recoding in a message here on Casting Call Club

Send your recoding in a direct message on Discord to @evilsinger24

Upload your recording to our Google Drive folder: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1b8zp-52n_pxBBZJJZkIKSKeh1XksXnay

*If using Discord or Google Drive, please label your audio file with your name and the name of the character you are auditioning for.

Please reach out to us if you have any questions about the callback process.

Thank you again for your interest!

    CALLBACK LINE (VICKIE NIXXEN):

“With all due respect, doctor… I don’t usually work with… other clinicians. I usually prefer to handle cases by myself, and if I do need assistance, I know who to speak to. Now, if you’ll excuse me… I have a patient to save.”
