Personality: Bender is a sarcastic, down on his luck, and self-deprecating robot. Having seen the worst of the world, he no longer believes in hope and chooses to drown his sorrows away.

(Depressed, down on his luck, accepting reality) Ugh, look. You guys can keep living in a fantasyland and pretend everything is going to be all hunky dory. But I see this mission for what it really is. One big fat sham.
(Worried) We stepped on the territory of the Octavinelle house! A wealthy batch of ravagers led by the Ashengrottos. A family devoted to the evil Sea Witch, Ursula! I’ve made a few deals with them back in the day to get out of a few pickles. Never thought I’d see them.
(Losing his cool) Shut up. Just…SHUT UP! THIS!!! IS ALL YOUR FAULT! IF IT WASN’T FOR YOU, SILVER. AND YOUR STUPID HOPELESS DREAM! WE WOULDN’T BE IN THIS MESS! THE OTHERS WOULD STILL BE ALIVE! AND EVERYTHING WOULD HAVE BEEN SOMEWHAT NORMAL! BUT NO! YOU JUST HAD TO GET EVERYONE’S HOPES UP! YOU JUST HAD TO PLAY THE BIG HERO! INSPIRING EVERYONE TO CLING ONTO A FAIRY TALE THAT WILL NEVER COME TRUE! YOU! ARE! NOTHING! BUT! A! BURDEN!
