Blaze is the 1st female character to not be voiced freely. We are looking for a performance in the vein of Erica Lindbeck (Modern/Team Sonic Racing) or  Erica Schroeder (Dark Age/Sonic 06'). We are looking for a voice that sounds "imperial"—commanding yet elegant. REMEMBER:
  • Blaze is royalty. Her speech should be precise, articulated, and controlled. She rarely shouts unless in the heat of battle; she "commands" the room with her presence.
  • Blaze is famously guarded. Her voice should sound somewhat "distanced" or "stiff" initially, as she struggles with social interaction. As she warms up, a subtle warmth can enter her tone.
  • When she uses her fire powers, her voice shouldn't sound chaotic. It should sound like focused energy. Think of a "simmering" heat rather than an uncontrolled explosion.
  • Blaze has a lower, firmer resonance. Try to aim for that without tensing your throat. Avoid a "gravelly" sound; she should remain smooth and elegant.
  • Ensure recordings are free of background noise, peaking, or excessive room reverb for professional consideration.
(EXTRA: This character will sing sometimes. If you cannot sing in the character's voice, that is fine; we will look for a singing double, but your voice acting role is secure.)
