Velka. Velka, Velka, Velka. One of the most enigmatic and influential figures in Dark Souls yet we never see her. Mother of many and widow to an old purveyor of the dark, she rose from mortality through the power of the Deep and her own soul. Her dialogue will focus on New Londo, Gwyn's betrayal of man and the First Flame. Later she will tell of the founding of Londor and how she was betrayed yet again. I would prefer her sounding close to Claudia Black or Lena Headey but honestly I will simply take someone decent.

  • "Thou has come far. Tell me. What is it you seek in this abandoned land? Absolution, dissolution, or ruin? Purpose is not a thing you will find."

  • "My tears? I shed them long ago for those I loved. We were betrayed by one who called himself a god. A dragon and a serpent told him how to do it."

  • "Oh, you have sinned greatly... but sin is a common trait, and forgiveness on behalf of others I give. Embrace me, child. Let your sins be washed clean."
