The main character of homestuck the musical. John is a young, energetic, teen, full of gusto for life. He controls the central story and makes friends along the way. As he is the main character, he probably has more screentime (songtime?) than any other character in the musical. His voice should sound energetic and youthful, and he should sing tenor.
Since John is a young teen, I will be accepting females for this role as long as they have a strong male range. Some of John's current songs include Purpose (Avenue Q) and Breathe (In the Heights.)
